        Mission | Storytelling

We believe storytelling is magic, and our goal is to support filmmaking that puts storytelling first. Great storytellers create connections, bridge gaps, incite empathy, and improve understanding.

As the world gets smaller, the need for great storytellers gets larger. Whether it's an action film, romantic comedy, or even a short web video, a well-told story has the opportunity to move viewers around the globe by endearing us to its characters and seducing us with its insights.

Join us by sharing your stories.

In this website are some quotes from a few of the storytelling magicians who inspire us. What do you think? Share your thoughts on Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, or contact us below. We would love to hear from you!

      • Inspiration

These filmmakers have inspired us. Who inspires you?

People have forgotten how to tell a story. Stories don’t have a middle or an end any more. They usually have a beginning that never stops beginning.

        - Steven Spielberg

There is no terror in the bang, only in the anticipation of it.

        - Alfred Hitchcock

In a sense, I think a movie is really a little like a question and when you make it, that's when you get the answer.

        - Francis Ford Coppola

I think it is very important that films make people look at what they've forgotten.

        - Spike Lee

A film is – or should be – more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings.

        - Stanley Kubrick

When you are editing, the final master is Aristotle and his poetics. You might have a terrific episode, but if people are falling out because there are just too many elements in it, you have to begin to get rid of things.

        - Ken Burns
